Registry Criterion<\/h1>\n

The Australian and New Zealand Registry of Advanced Glaucoma\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>needs assistance from ophthalmologists, other eye health professionals and low vision services in Australia and New Zealand to recruit suitable candidates based on clinical evaluation.<\/p>\n

Suitability for inclusion into the registry is currently based on the following criterion:<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong><\/span>:\u00a0Congenital, Juvenile, Exfoliative, Primary Angle Closure, Pigmentary, Anterior Segment Development and Steroid Induced glaucoma ARE NOT exclusion criteria.<\/p>\n

We wish to recruit in all of the above categories INDEPENDENT of glaucoma status.<\/p>\n

All participants will be asked to provide a DNA sample (blood preferable) to assist in the search for new genes related to glaucoma. This will be coordinated by staff at the\u00a0Australian and New Zealand Registry of Advanced Glaucoma.<\/strong><\/p>\n
